How to read this

There is no single best agency

"Best lead generation agency" is the wrong question, because the field splits three ways: by function (what they do, from Clay builds to cold email to deliverability), by geography (who knows your market and time zone), and by stage (a seed team and a Series B need different shops). This hub routes you to the shortlist that fits, instead of one leaderboard that fits no one.

An honest note: we are an agency too, and we include ourselves in these lists where we genuinely fit. We never rank ourselves first, we say where we are not the call, and every agency is verified on its own site. Judge for yourself.

How to use this hub

  • Pick the cut that matches your problem, not the head term
  • Sort by function, geography, or stage, whichever narrows it fastest
  • Read who each agency is not for, not just who it is for
  • Ask what you keep the day the contract ends

Before you shortlist

How to choose an agency

The shortlists tell you who fits. This is how we would run the decision itself, in the order that saves you the most wasted months.

1
Match your stage first

Most strong shops want revenue or product-market fit. At seed, that alone narrows the field to a handful.

2
Ask who does the daily work

A founder and a senior operator is a different engagement from a junior pod. Get the names before you sign.

3
Check what you keep on day 91

Signals, data, and workflows you own outlast the contract. Rented activity stops the day it ends.

The full buyer's guide, from criteria to the questions that expose a bad agency, is coming soon.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is a B2B lead generation agency?
A B2B lead generation agency is an outside team you hire to fill your pipeline with qualified meetings, usually through cold email, LinkedIn, calling, or a mix. Some staff SDRs who send and dial on your behalf, and some build the automated system behind outbound instead. The right one depends on whether you want rented activity or a machine you keep.
How do I choose a B2B lead generation agency?
Start with your stage and the job you actually need done, then narrow by function, geography, and who fits a team your size. Ask what you keep when the contract ends, who does the daily work, and whether they run on signals or raw volume. Our how-to-choose guide walks the full decision, and each shortlist below points you to a shorter list for your case.
How much does a B2B lead generation agency cost?
Most work on a monthly retainer that is quoted per scope rather than published, and the market runs roughly from a few thousand dollars a month for a lean engagement to well over ten thousand for full-service done-for-you. Some charge per meeting or per lead instead, which changes the incentives. Always confirm the current number and the model on the agency's own site.
What is the difference between a lead generation agency and a GTM engineering agency?
A traditional lead generation agency staffs SDRs who send and dial for you, and you pay largely for their activity. A GTM engineering agency builds the machine, the data, signals, automation, and CRM, so output is not capped by headcount. Many buyers end up wanting some of both, which is why this hub splits agencies by the job they do.
Does Real Good GTM include itself in these lists?
Yes, on the cuts we honestly fit, and we say so plainly. We are a two-person outbound agency for seed to early Series A startups, so we place ourselves in our real group, never at number one, and we name where we are not the right call. On cuts we do not genuinely fit, we leave ourselves off. Judge for yourself.
Are these agency guides affiliate-driven?
No. There are no affiliate links and no paid placements anywhere in this library. Every agency is verified on its own site and grouped by the job it does, so the recommendation is the same whether or not you ever talk to us.
