The best lead generation agencies for AI startups

AI startups sell a category buyers do not fully have a slot for yet. The right agency runs outbound as a positioning experiment, not a list blast. Here is the field.

How we built this list

A practitioner read, not a reposted directory

We verified each agency on its own current site in July 2026: what they do, who they serve, their model, and any pricing they publish. We were strict about the "AI" label. Many agencies serve AI brands with demand and content, and some use "AI" to describe their own method, so we noted which genuinely specialize in selling a new category.

We have built pipeline inside AI companies ourselves, so the read comes from knowing the work. Where an agency had no independent review sample we could trust, we left the rating off. Where its AI proof was a stated vertical rather than named clients, we said so.

How we built this list

  • Every agency verified on its own current site, July 2026
  • Ratings shown only where a credible independent sample exists, read off the live profile
  • We flag whether the AI focus is a named-client track record or a stated vertical
  • We publish this list and we are on it. We do not rank ourselves first, and we say where we are not the fit
  • Grouped by the job, not ranked. If a fact could not be verified, we left it out

The real test

Selling before the category exists

At an AI startup the hard part is not sending more email, it is learning who buys and why while the story is still forming and the model keeps changing. Two honest models.

Learning-led

Outbound as a positioning experiment

Fewer sends, tighter loops, with the results fed back into your GTM and product. A real read on who reacts to which framing, while positioning is still moving.

Use it when your category and message are still forming.

Proven motion

Volume, once a message works

When a segment and message clearly convert, volume shops build the deliverability and infrastructure to push it hard.

Use it when you already know what converts and want reach.

The read

Order matters. Scaling a message you have not validated just burns domains and goodwill on a market that does not know it needs you yet. Pick for learning velocity first; move to volume only once the positioning holds. Ask any agency how they will feed what they learn back to you.

01

UpliftGTM

Sydney, AU AI GTM · outbound

A B2B-tech GTM agency with a stated AI and ML vertical that designs, builds, and hands over the full outbound and SEO system, published as fixed-fee tiers.

Best for

Seed to enterprise AI founders selling applied AI to skeptical buyers, who want to own the outbound system.

Model & pricing (Jul 2026)

Published fixed-fee build tiers, from $10,000 to $15,000 for the starter up to $50,000 and more for enterprise. A diagnose-to-handover build of roughly six to ten weeks, not an ongoing retainer.

Where they're strong

A genuine AI vertical, a positioning and category audit at the start of every build, and a system you keep and run yourself.

Consider elsewhere if

You want an ongoing done-for-you team, named AI-native case studies, or a US or European timezone. Its public case studies skew cybersecurity and enterprise SaaS, and the team is in Sydney.

Bottom line

The clearest AI-positioned outbound build on this list, if you want to own the engine rather than rent a pod.

02

Real Good GTM (that's us)

Paris · US/Europe Founder-led · signal-based

The two of us run signal-based outbound for seed to early Series A AI startups. You get booked pipeline plus a clear read on who is actually buying, and you keep everything we build.

Best for

Seed to early Series A AI founders still shaping their positioning who want founders on the account testing messages, not a junior pod.

Model

A two-month start, then month to month, no lock-in. Signals over lists, built per segment.

Where we're strong

Founder-led delivery, outbound run as positioning experiments, a live learning document on who reacts to which framing, and pipeline we have built inside AI companies like Mindflow, CEF.AI, and Buster.AI.

Not for you if

You want to scale a message you have not validated yet, need enterprise-scale volume or cold calling, or want guaranteed meeting counts.

Straight talk

We are built for the messy, pre-category phase, testing angles and reading the market, not high-volume sending. If you already know what converts and just want reach, a volume shop fits better.

Model & pricing (Jul 2026)

A four-month engagement structured around weekly milestones, from Build and Launch through Continuous Growth, outcome-aligned. Pricing not published.

Where they're strong

Wider than a pure cold-email shop: LinkedIn organic and ads, Reddit, cold email, paid ads, content systems, and RevOps integration under one team.

Consider elsewhere if

You want month-to-month terms or a single-channel focus. The published ARR and client-count figures are self-reported and not independently verified.

A broad, multichannel GTM-engineering build for an AI startup that wants outbound, content, and paid run as one fixed-cycle program.

DEV Commx

Remote AI SDR system

An AI-SDR and GTM-engineering agency that builds AI-powered GTM systems to automate signal-based prospecting, personalized multichannel outreach, and lead qualification for B2B teams.

Best for

AI founders and RevOps leaders who want a done-for-you AI-driven outbound system built around buying signals rather than hiring SDRs.

Model & pricing (Jul 2026)

Done-for-you build-and-run of an outbound system, not software. Pricing not published; a free GTM audit is the entry point.

Where they're strong

A three-step AI SDR stack: signal-based prospecting and enrichment on job changes, funding, tech stack and hiring, then AI-personalized outreach with GPT-4, Clay, and Smartlead, then automated qualification into the CRM.

Consider elsewhere if

You want published pricing, a stated HQ, or independent reviews. Proof today is anonymized case studies, with no named logos or verified metrics.

Bottom line

A signal-based AI-SDR build for an AI team that wants the assembled stack, GPT-4 copy, Clay data, Smartlead sending, run for them.

Group B

Category and demand

They build the narrative and the inbound demand around a new category, including visibility in AI answers. The pick when the job is the story and being found, not cold pipeline.

05

NoGood

New York, US AI demand · brand

A growth-marketing agency with an explicit AI vertical and marquee AI clients, focused on demand, brand, and AI-search visibility rather than cold outbound.

Best for

Funded AI startups that need to own a category narrative and show up in AI answers, not book cold meetings.

Model & pricing (Jul 2026)

Monthly retainer. Their own site says the average retainer is above $20,000 a month.

Where they're strong

Named AI logos on their own site, including Inflection AI and Anthropic, deep paid and answer-engine work, and category-defining brand.

Consider elsewhere if

You need cold outbound pipeline, or you are pre-seed on a small budget. They run demand and brand, not cold outreach.

Bottom line

The pick when the problem is the narrative and demand, not booked meetings, and you can fund a real retainer.

Growth Division

4.7 Clutch 31 Growth experiments

A London growth agency that embeds a strategist plus swappable channel experts, with a dedicated AI-startups practice, to find and prove a channel mix.

Best for

Seed and early-stage AI startups still proving which channels work, before scaling any of them.

Model & pricing (Jul 2026)

Quoted per scope, embedded and fractional. Not published on the site.

Where they're strong

A test-and-narrow approach across paid, SEO, content, and outreach, a stated AI-startups focus, and a solid independent Clutch record.

Consider elsewhere if

You want proof they have scaled AI companies specifically. Their AI page names a vertical, but the case studies shown are not AI-native.

Bottom line

A sensible early pick to find a channel that works, as long as you read the AI claim as a focus, not a client list.

OutreachBloom

Olympia, US AI SEO · outreach

A B2B agency that positions primarily as an AI SEO and AI-visibility shop and also runs done-for-you cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and Reddit marketing.

Where they're strong

Generative-engine optimization as the lead service, plus a genuine Reddit marketing offer for high-trust forum citations, and done-for-you email infrastructure, warmup, and list building.

Remote AI-native GTM

An AI-native GTM services company that builds full outbound, ABM, RevOps, and LinkedIn-content engines for B2B tech companies rather than just advising on them.

Best for

B2B tech, roughly Seed to Series C. Their own eligibility rules gate automated outbound to a TAM over 20k and LTV over $5k, and ABM to a smaller TAM with high LTV.

Model & pricing (Jul 2026)

Retainer subscription with a $5,000 a month minimum, on a quarterly commitment with monthly outcome ties, plus four-to-twelve-week sprint projects. Paid on outcomes, not hours.

Where they're strong

A published seven-step outbound framework, a strong named-client roster on their customers page including Seam AI and Cargo, and outbound, ABM, RevOps, and LinkedIn content under one team.

Consider elsewhere if

How to choose

Who each one is for

Technical founder, no GTM yet

Own the category narrative

NoGood for AI brand and demand, or SimpleTiger to get cited in AI answers.

Still finding your channel mix

Message clearly works, want volume

Putting it together

How we'd actually choose

We build outbound for companies selling new categories, so here is the order we would run the decision in, whether or not we are on your list.

1
Validate before you scale

The first job is a read on who buys and why, not a meeting count. Find the believers before you chase reach.

2
Protect the domain

Testing positioning at volume torches deliverability. Keep sends tight until a message lands.

3
Close the loop

The agency worth keeping tells you what it learned about your market every week, not just how many emails it sent.

Want a second opinion? Book a fit check and we will tell you whether it is outbound, demand, or a design-partner hunt you actually need, even when it is not us.

FAQ

Questions AI founders ask

Why is lead generation different for AI startups?
Two reasons. The category is often new, so buyers do not arrive with a budget line or a clear problem statement, and the outreach has to teach as much as it asks. And the product moves fast, so the ICP and the message keep changing. That rewards outbound built to test and learn over outbound built to blast a static list.
Should an AI startup do outbound before product-market fit?
In a targeted way, yes, as a way to find design partners and early believers and to learn who reacts to which framing. What does not work pre-PMF is high-volume sending; you will burn your domain and your reputation on a market that cannot yet tell you why it would buy. Keep it small and treat it as research.
How do you sell an AI product to technical buyers without getting ignored?
Lead with a specific, credible outcome and skip the hype words that every AI pitch now uses. Technical buyers filter hard on substance, so a concrete trigger, a real integration detail, or a named problem lands far better than "AI-powered." Signal-based outbound helps here because it reaches them when something real has changed on their side.
How much do lead generation agencies for AI startups cost?
The same shape as the wider field: most quote per scope, a fractional GTM engineer can run $4,000 to $6,000 a month, and full-service GTM starts higher. There is no AI premium worth paying for on its own; pay for operators who understand selling a new category, not for the letters A and I on a slide.
Can an AI startup just use AI SDR tools instead of an agency?
The tools help you send, and a founder who knows the motion can get value from them. What they do not do is decide the positioning, read the replies, or tell you what the market is saying back, which is exactly the hard part at an AI startup still finding its story. Most teams need the judgment before they need the automation.
What should an AI startup ask a lead gen agency before signing?
Ask how they will test positioning rather than just send, how they protect your domain while you experiment, and how and how often they feed what they learn back into your GTM. If the pitch is only a meeting number, it is the wrong pitch for a company still defining its category.
