The best lead generation agencies in the USA

The US market is too big for one list to answer. This is the national overview: it shows the agencies worth knowing in 2026, then points you down to the right shortlist, whether that is a city page or a function page. Start here, then go narrow. All verified.

By Kshitij Maheshwari, co-founder · Updated July 2026

Real Good GTM publishes this list, and we are on it. We do not rank ourselves first, we say where we fit and where we do not, and every agency is verified on its own site. Judge for yourself. Read how we evaluate.

The short answer Verified July 2026

On a national list there is no single best, only the best for your stage and the outcome you are buying. The short version, by use case:

Best appointment setting at scale
Belkins

Done-for-you omnichannel appointment setting, at volume.

Best senior onshore reps
SalesRoads

Senior US-based SDRs, cancel anytime, published starting price.

Best high-volume cold email
Growth Engine X

Cold-email deliverability at scale for teams past $1M.

Best fractional build you keep
The GTM Engineering Company

A part-time GTM engineer who builds the system, then hands it over.

Our slice (that's us)
Real Good GTM

Signal-based, founder-led. Paris-based, serving the US and Europe primarily, for founders who want a real market read, not a national volume shop.

Every agency below is verified on its own site, July 2026. No paid placements, no affiliate links.

How we built this list

A practitioner read, not a reposted directory

We verified each agency on its own current site in July 2026: where it is based, what it does, who it serves, and its engagement model. Because this is the national list, we picked shops by the job they own, from appointment setting at scale to cold-email volume, senior onshore reps, and GTM engineering, not by which city they sit in.

We run signal-based outbound ourselves, so the read on each shop comes from knowing the work. Where we could not independently confirm a rating in this pass, we left it off rather than publish a number we could not stand behind.

How we built this list

  • Every agency verified on its own current site, July 2026
  • Grouped by the job they own nationally, not by which US city they sit in
  • Ratings shown only where a credible independent sample could be confirmed, linked and dated
  • No affiliate links, no paid placements, no pay-to-list
  • We publish this list and we are on it. We do not rank ourselves first, and we say where we are not the fit
  • Grouped by fit, not ranked. If a fact could not be verified, we left it out

How to use this page

Shortlist a US outbound partner by city, by function, and by stage

"Best in the USA" is where the search starts, not where it ends. There is no single national winner, only the right shortlist for your market and your motion. This page is the router: pick the cut that matches you, and it takes you to a tighter list that is built for it.

By city

You want a team that knows your local buyer

Each metro sells differently: the Bay Area is AI-heavy and Clay-native, New York runs longer fintech and enterprise cycles, Austin is startup-dense, Boston skews B2B and health tech. The city pages weigh the shops built for each.

By function

You know the motion you need run

If the job is clear, skip geography and go straight to the specialists. Each function page lists the agencies that do that one thing best, nationally.

By stage

You are buying for where you are now

Stage decides the price floor and whether a shop will even take you: many screen for existing revenue. If you are early, start with the list built for that.

Past that, the outcome you are buying is the fork: booked meetings now from a done-for-you pod, or a system you own from a fractional or GTM-engineering partner.

The read

The roster below is the national field, grouped by the job each shop does best, so you can see the full range in one place. But on a US-wide search the pin on the map matters less than three things: where the reps who send and dial actually sit, whether the shop takes companies at your stage, and whether you want booked meetings now or a system you keep. Use those cuts to narrow, then follow the city or function link that fits you to a shortlist built for it.

Founder-led and signal-based

The cross-cutting option that puts founders on the account and runs signals over lists. The pick for early-stage teams that want a real market read, not a national volume shop.

12

Real Good GTM (that's us)

Paris · US/Europe Founder-led · signal-based

The two of us run signal-based outbound for seed to early Series A, from Paris-based, serving the US and Europe primarily. You get booked pipeline plus a clear read on what to scale, and you keep everything we build.

Best for

Seed to early Series A founders selling into the US or Europe who want the two founders on the account and a real read on their market, not a local volume shop.

Model

A two-month start, then month to month, no lock-in. Signals over lists, built per segment across email and LinkedIn.

Where we're strong

Founder-led delivery, signal-based rather than list-based outbound, and a live learning document on what converts and where to scale.

Not for you if

You need enterprise-scale SDR volume across the US, cold calling, guaranteed lead counts, or a specialist industry team. That is not us.

Putting it together

How we'd actually choose

We build this kind of system for a living, so here is the order we would run the decision in, whether or not we are on your list.

1
Narrow before you rank

On a national search, start by cutting the field: by city if a local buyer read matters, by function if the motion is clear, or by stage if you are early. The right shortlist is smaller than "the whole US."

2
Match the stage and the channel

Some shops screen for existing revenue. Pick the phone if your buyers answer it, email and LinkedIn if they respond better there, and check whether you want volume or a system.

3
Check delivery and what you keep

Ask who actually sends and dials, onshore or offshore, and what you own when the engagement ends. Then, and only then, weigh the logo.

Want a second opinion? Book a fit check and we will tell you which of these fits your stage, even when it is not us.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What does a B2B lead generation agency cost in the US?
Most US agencies quote a monthly retainer per scope rather than publishing a price. Outsourced SDR and appointment-setting programs typically start in the low thousands of dollars a month, and senior onshore teams and full-service builds run higher. A few publish figures, most route you to a call. Always confirm the current number on the agency's own site, and match the price floor to your stage.
What is the difference between lead generation and appointment setting?
Lead generation is the broader job of creating and qualifying interest across channels. Appointment setting is the narrower one of booking a qualified meeting on your calendar, usually by phone and email. Many US agencies do both, but their pricing and their metrics differ, so be clear which outcome you are buying before you sign.
Should I hire a national agency or a local one?
On a US-wide search it rarely comes down to the agency's city. What matters is where the reps who send and dial actually sit, whether they are onshore or offshore, and whether they know your buyer. A national shop can cover a big territory, while a local one may know a regional market better. Pick on delivery and fit, not the pin on the map.
Do these agencies do cold calling, or just email and LinkedIn?
It varies. Appointment-setting and BDR shops centre on the phone, cold-email specialists lean on email and LinkedIn, and full-service teams blend all three. If phone is central to your motion, pick a team built for it. If your buyers respond better to email and LinkedIn, weight toward those specialists. We note on each card which ones run cold calling.
How do I know if an agency's reviews are real?
Look for a credible, dated sample on an independent platform like Clutch or G2, not a wall of unattributed quotes on the agency's own site. Check the number of reviews and read the middling ones, not just the five-star ones. On this page we only show a rating where we could confirm the platform, the score, and a real review count, and we date it.
How do I choose a B2B lead generation agency in the US?
Start with the outcome you are buying, booked meetings now or a system you keep, then match the stage: some shops screen for existing revenue. Decide whether you want volume or a system, check where delivery sits, and only then weigh the logo. This page groups the agencies by the job they do best so you can start from your situation.
