It bundles sending, a 650M-contact database, finders, and native warmup (lemwarm) in one place, then adds LinkedIn, calls, and SMS on higher plans. Best for email-led teams that want data and deliverability without stitching tools together.

What real users say
Public review scores and the themes that come up most, checked June 2026. Counts drift, so the live links are the source of truth.
Lemlist
Praised for: visual and image personalization, easy sequence building, and warmup that lifts deliverability on new domains.
Watch-outs: per-seat pricing that climbs as the team grows, and deliverability or lead-data complaints that run hotter on Trustpilot and Reddit than on G2.
La Growth Machine
Praised for: the multichannel sequence builder, native voice notes, and an all-in-one workflow that replaces juggling separate tools.
Watch-outs: per-identity pricing that adds up, top features gated to the Ultimate tier, and occasional sync or reliability bugs.
Read the scores in context. La Growth Machine's 4.9 on Capterra sits on roughly 45 reviews, while Lemlist's 4.6 spans 387 on Capterra and over 1,400 on G2. A higher average on a small sample is not the same as a more proven one, so weigh the sample size, not just the number.
Where each one actually wins
Six things separate these tools in practice. Here is the honest call on each.
LinkedIn safety and depth
Edge: La Growth MachineThis is the deciding issue for most teams choosing between these two. La Growth Machine has automated LinkedIn without a browser extension since 2017, with built-in limits to protect accounts and native LinkedIn voice messages. Lemlist runs LinkedIn steps on its Multichannel plan, but it reads as one channel inside an email-led tool rather than the core of the product.
Email deliverability and warmup
Edge: LemlistLemlist ships with lemwarm, a warmup network of more than 20,000 real inboxes, free on paid seats, plus deliverability monitoring. La Growth Machine does not advertise a native inbox warmup. It offers inbox rotation on higher plans, but if email is heavy you will likely add a separate warmup tool. Note that some Lemlist users still report deliverability issues, so warmup helps but is not a guarantee.
Channel breadth
Edge: LemlistLemlist covers email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS, and WhatsApp as an add-on. La Growth Machine covers LinkedIn, email, and calls, and adds X on its top tier, but has no SMS or WhatsApp. If you want texting in the sequence, only one of these does it.
Data and enrichment cost
Edge: splitLemlist carries a 650M-contact database with finders built in, billed by credits at $0.01 each, so cost scales with use. La Growth Machine bundles enrichment credits into each plan and partners with Dropcontact, which makes spend more predictable, though it does not publish a database size. Heavy enrichers tend to prefer the bundled model.
Pricing and team model
Edge: dependsLemlist bills per user and gives unlimited senders on the Email plan, which is efficient for a small team pushing email volume. La Growth Machine bills per sending identity, which maps cleanly to agencies and multi-persona teams where each identity is a separate sender. Same spend, very different shape, and both draw pricing complaints as you scale.
AI and personalization
Edge: tieBoth lean hard into AI, in different directions. Lemlist's lemAgent researches and personalizes off intent signals and a reusable context base. La Growth Machine's AI writes sequences with Magic Messages and generates personalized LinkedIn voice intros. One is agentic and intent-led, the other conversational, and which you prefer is mostly taste.

What each one costs in 2026
Verified from each official pricing page in June 2026. Read the seat model, not just the headline number.
Lemlist
USD / per user- Email
50k emails/mo, unlimited senders, lemwarm, database$69/mo - Multichannel
Adds LinkedIn, calls, SMS; 5 senders/user$109/mo - Enterprise
SSO, custom roles, dedicated supportCustom
14-day trial, no free plan. Annual billing is ~20% lower. Enrichment is credit-based on top ($0.01/credit).
La Growth Machine
EUR / per identity- Basic
LinkedIn + email, 250 enrichments/mo€60/mo - Pro
Adds calls, inbox rotation, 400 enrichments€120/mo - Ultimate
Adds X, 1,000 enrichments, CRM sync€120/mo
14-day trial, no card. Agency plans from 6 identities. Enrichment bundled, with extra verified leads at €5 each.
True cost at scale. The headline prices look close, but the models diverge fast. Lemlist's unlimited senders on the Email plan keep a small email-heavy team cheap, while La Growth Machine multiplies with every identity you add. Factor the extras too: WhatsApp and calling add to Lemlist, X sits only on La Growth Machine's top tier, and both charge for enrichment beyond the plan.
What neither tool does well
Both are sequencers, so they share the same blind spots. Worth knowing before you expect either to carry your whole motion.
Neither is built for real cold-email scale. For that you want dedicated infrastructure underneath.
They send well, but neither tells you which accounts are in-market right now. That is targeting, not sequencing.
Both bundle data, but bounces still happen. A verification step keeps your domain healthy.

Our take, after running both
The choice is mostly about your lead channel, not a feature count. Here is how we'd call it in three situations.
lemwarm and the unlimited-sender Email plan keep volume in the inbox, and the database saves a separate data tool early on.
Extension-free safety, native voice notes, and the per-identity model fit founders and agencies juggling several senders.
Neither is a high-volume engine. Put Smartlead or Instantly underneath, and keep the sequencer for the personalized layer.
Not sure which fits? We run signal-based outbound for early-stage teams and will tell you straight.
